SARS?CoV?2 nucleocapsid protein intranasal inoculation induces local and systemic T cell responses in mice

چکیده

SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid (N) protein has been proposed as a good vaccine target. N-specific T cells were observed in N immunized mice and COVID-19 convalescents. It is of importance to identify the cell responses triggered by protein. Intradermal immunization with SARS-CoV was demonstrated elicit non-protective which may be avoided intranasal vaccination. Therefore, we conducted vaccination BALB/c recombinant adenovirus type-5 expressing Such procedure induced CD8 lung. Meanwhile CD4 spleen, associated robust antibody production. Our study further supports notion that can work target for development.

A combined nucleocapsid vaccine induces vigorous SARS-CD8+ T-cell immune responses

Several studies have shown that cell-mediated immune responses play a crucial role in controlling viral replication. As such, a candidate SARS vaccine should elicit broad CD8+ T-cell immune responses. Several groups of mice were immunized alone or in combination with SARS-nucleocapsid immunogen. A high level of specific SARS-CD8+ T-cell response was demonstrated in mice that received DNA encodi...

Uropathogenic Escherichia coli Induces Serum Amyloid A in Mice following Urinary Tract and Systemic Inoculation

Serum amyloid A (SAA) is an acute phase protein involved in the homeostasis of inflammatory responses and appears to be a vital host defense component with protective anti-infective properties. SAA expression remains poorly defined in many tissues, including the urinary tract which often faces bacterial challenge. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are usually caused by strains of uropathogenic Es...

Lactococcus lactis GEM particles displaying pneumococcal antigens induce local and systemic immune responses following intranasal immunization.

The present work reports the use of non-living non-recombinant bacteria as a delivery system for mucosal vaccination. Antigens are bound to the cell-wall of pretreated Lactococcus lactis, designated as Gram-positive enhancer matrix (GEM), by means of a peptidoglycan binding domain. The influence of the GEM particles on the antigen-specific serum antibody response was studied. Following nasal im...

Hepatitis B virus splice-generated protein induces T-cell responses in HLA-transgenic mice and hepatitis B virus-infected patients.

Hepatitis B virus splice-generated protein (HBSP), encoded by a spliced hepatitis B virus RNA, was recently identified in liver biopsy specimens from patients with chronic active hepatitis B. We investigated the possible generation of immunogenic peptides by the processing of this protein in vivo. We identified a panel of potential epitopes in HBSP by using predictive computational algorithms f...

listeria monocytogenes protein fraction induces dendritic cells maturation and t helper 1 immune responses.

fully mature dendritic cells (dcs) play pivotal role in inducing immune responses and converting naïve t lymphocytes into functional th1 cells. we aimed to evaluate listeria monocytogenes-derived protein fractions to induce dc maturation and stimulating t helper (th)1 immune responses. in the present study, we fractionated listeria monocytogenes-derived proteins by adding of ammonium sulfate in...
